Is it just me, or is VMI the worst I-AA team in the country (non including non-scholarship teams, though some of them are better than VMI)?

No, I believe they can beat Savannah State.

Talk about your tough days for the Big South. With the exception of CSU eking out a come-from-behind victory over a DII the rest of the league went into the tank today.

When will everyone realize that the big south is a chump football league. Granted, it is our chump football league, but it is still a chump league.

Based on this weeks performances I think that is a very accurate statement to make.

Richmond is a pretty good team, though i did not think they would beat VMI that bad. and i would confidently say sav. st. is the worst team in I-AA

Read Presby's board if you want some interesting perspective.

SOME are astounded by their loss to Elon:
PCBlueX wrote:We are not anywhere near ready to go D-IAA, Elon is not a good team, they do have some good athletes but the coaching is bush league. Their players were bigger and faster and mostly more experienced but not a very good team. We just don't have an offense this year.
(this would be the same Elon team that took down Coastal AT CCU. )

I think they may have seriously underestimated the level of competition in D1-AA, even in the BSOUTH. Too many years playing Chuck South.
