Can't say I disagree too much. There must be a reason why he is not.

Not much to say, we played pretty good defense, ran the ball incredibly well, and woodrum did not make a critical mistake. Lunsford was the only disappointment. time for stonybrook!

considering he boomed a pair of bombs last week, youd think that PATs would be pretty pedestrian even in his second game back

A trio of 30-plus yard rushing touchdowns by Aldreakis Allen sparked Liberty's offense and paced the Flames to a 26-12 Big South victory over Charleston Southern, Saturday.

Following their fourth victory in the last five games, Liberty now stands at 4-5 on the season and 3-1 in Big South play.

Finally home after the game, my observations;

1- props to coaches on play call when game was 7-6; had a nice 23 yard pick up on a screen pass

2- #45 MLB is a beast

3- #9 is Wes Welker like

4- QB didn't do a bad job and LU running backs hit the holes hard!

5- CSU calls bad plays, helped LU defense a ton

6- disappointed in non student crowd. Looked really weak

I still say LU has better talent than their record shows.... :football :football :football :football

The right gameplan, good execution of it, and we didn't have the special teams flub (er...um...2 missed PATs) or killer turnover that became instant points. The TEs weren't featured in the passing game, but the running game set things up well enough to pass downfield a bit more with the DL worn down. Really, just about perfect considering the injuries and the available talent.

The carries in the last two drives got Allen to the point of being even with SCH, but somebody needs to ask the coaching staff why the guy with 3 TD runs today that are longer than any run by SCH all year is still the 2nd option.

I missed the game due to a 7-win Quiz Bowl tournament at UVa, but it sounds like football team played, what Kim Graham used to call, "smash-mouth football." Big win!

That question has been asked 3 or 4 times this year and gill always says its to keep both of them fresh. I have said for 2 years the carries should be 65 35 st minimum for allen. Holloway is a good change of pace back from allen. They complement each other well. Our line seems to run block much better than they pass protect.

I have always been fair and balanced!

When you guys decide to take my approach the board will be a better place... 8)

I may seem critical, but most neutral folks that KNOW the BIg South, all agree LU has underachieved in their Big 3 sport teams... That's not for debate, that's a FACT!

Good luck vs the Stony Brook.
Are we back?

Nice! Here is to hoping we can live bot free.
