For a team looking to move up to FBS in the future, I really hope this is the last season our guys play the likes of Concord. I suppose it's a nice change of pace for a team rightly accustomed to playing top opponents at the beginning of the season.

This was a last minute reschedule due to realignment. Yeah, we try to avoid DII games like the plague these days.

Nice 3 & out by LU defense but Flames offense has to punt it back.

I guess we don't respect our opponent this week.

There's the wake up call. Respect, and prepare for your opponent each and every week.

2-3 problems on special teams weekly .. starting to become chronic and frustrating. Whats the deal?

So far: lettting punt go overhead, blocked FG, bringing KO return out of endzone and getting only to the 5.

Peterson is a Freshman right? An explosive one at that!

Concord is a very disciplined team. We've got a clear talent advantage, but you can see that they've been coached up pretty well.

Looked like an obvious trip on the INT.

We're losing... to Concord?

Newt Gingrich at half time. If you're watching on ESPN3, recruits, just ignore that part, please?

We'll pull it out, we have dominated them thus far, with just 2 big turnovers. Our receivers have played okay, but I don't get the decision to have your #2 receiver in on the kickoff team! That's just asking for an injury, thankfully Dutra and Peterson have stepped in and done well for the most part.

To be fair we were at the time.

And it shouldn't have been happening at all. Ever. Unacceptable.

I guess we have a reputation to live up to.

How long will it take FSN to figure out they're focusing their cameras on the wrong Concord coach, thinking its their HC Justice, when its actually their offensive coordinator?

DOH!

I'll give Concord some credit, they're playing pretty much mistake free football. They're a good DII program with what appears to be a good young coach.

Well, they've mastered the art of downing punts about 6 inches from our goal line. Thankfully there aren't points for that.

Figured I'd come back to drag the school through the mud. :)

I admit I haven't been following the team very closely. I know what's been happening and I've caught a couple games but I am not keeping up like I used to, and unlike most people, I'd rather not be in the discussion unless I have a well-formulated opinion.

But it doesn't take much to know we shouldn't be losing close to halftime against a D2.

The timing of your return may not be the best, but it is certainly good to have you back. Wait, I thought you hated sports?

I do indeed. And a alma mater loss to a D2 would be front page news on my site dedicated to the topic.

Do our TV announcers ever stop talking? They don't actually say anything of use most of the time, but I'm trying to figure out if they actually allow more than a nanosecond of silence at any point.

Edit: Where did the sideline guy from last week go? He was actually very professional.

I watch the games on mute.

Join the club. Even with the delay, I really enjoy the radio broadcast.
