A Sea Of Red

Judging from posts like the current one on jersey names many of you active posters don't have a clue on costs. Yes, even little things like names are big money. This is nothing compared to the costs of an away game. Three charter buses, 60+ hotel rooms ($100 ea), five meals($10-15 x 90+ for each) two rental cars and an equipment truck. Modest educated estimates. This doesn't include costs for the radio crew, Flames Club crew, AD's crew, and sometimes cheerleaders and band plus others that I can't think of at the minute. Hats off to Paul R for the great job he does in coordinating all of this. Nothing extravagent but nothing chintzy either AND this is just one part of his job. Football is BIG business.

FBS huh, if that's what they are cutting costs on jerseys for, then ur gonna have bigger problems than u think.

PR does a lot, and does a great job!! But he doesn't do any rganizing/coordinating for radio crew, Flames Club crew, AD's crew, or cheerleaders or band. Just clarifying.

I don't know what this thread is for. Should we be impressed or is this just FYI? After all, a school like CSU does this too.
