the teams Presby beat are a combined 0-11. one D2 team and one FCS non-scholly. i know we seem to play bad in Clinton, but we need to make a big statement in this game. start fast and finish strong.

Can we say that we play bad there though? I mean new coaching staff very few players still here that were critical components 2 years ago, let alone 4 years ago. I ask this sincerely as I've been thinking about it myself.

Yeah we didn't exactly blow them out last year either. With the team we had and at home it took double OT to get the win. I hope we make a statement but I am sure the Blue Hose will put up a fight.

Other teams seem to play up to us, and we play down to them. AND we've already shown that we're vulnerable to a team that can get some big plays or catch our secondary biting on a play action pass. We've got some work to do this week, and we need a convincing win on the road.

I think our secondary will be much improved next week. They now have a game of film under their belts. 2 of our top 3 corners were 4th and 5th on the depth chart just one week ago.

Survive and advance. I do not expect this game to be a blowout. Presby could easily beat LU...The last two times they played LU tough...I'll take a three point win on the road at this point.

I could care less about style...the only thing that matters is being 2-0 in the conference after the game next week.

Yea if we do a Prediction thread, I don't think I'll try. If have no clue on the score, but I do think we win.

thread on their board: http://s9.zetaboards.com/PC_Blue_Hose/topic/7358281/1/

checking in lately it appears to be mostly parents of kids on the team and they don't take criticism very well. Even from their own.

so I just browse now. Needless to say they have been disappointed with their results so far. That VMI game was ugly... I watched a lot of it.

I expect the Flames to win by at least 14 points... If the KEYDETS beat the PC by 10, Flames should be a bit better.... They proved they can score against GW, now they need some carry over!

Should be win #2

Neither of our two teams is doing particularly well. One of two things is going to happen:

1) We continue to play adequate defense and uninspired offense. We lose the game 30-14.
2) Offense finds an indenty and we find a way to get it done. We win 27-21.

BTW, I'd say most of the regular posters aren't parents of current or former players. Neither FACTORRUMOR, gobluehose, jtodd, pcguy09, Swiss Militant, nor I have kids who played for PC. Black Watch, Hoseman, and MrEd are the only ones I know of who do, and Hoseman's graduated a few years ago.
