Head Coach at Baylor for like 20 years or so. Real big in the AFCA as well. Highly respected.

Okay, yes I'm excited . Grant is a class act on and off the field.!! When Grant took over Baylor they were 7-43-1 in the previous five seasons. Many wanted Baylor to drop Div I football. Three years later they were SWC Champs. Grants record at Baylor 128-105-6. He was SWC COY six times and National COY once. But, MOST IMPORTANTLY (at least to me) they beat mighty Texas 10 out of 21 times. Baylor was a small school in a field of giants. The Southwest Conference was THE CONFERENCE at the time. Arkansas, TX, Tx A&M,TX Tech, TCU,SMU,Houston and Rice. Baylor was one of three schools unscathed by recruiting scandals which ended the conference.
Hopefully Liberty will not loose its religious focus like Baylor (they're a Southern Baptist School)
Before Mike Singletary was a Chicago Bear he was a Baylor bear and has a relative on Liberty's coaching staff.
I pray that our Lord blesses Coach Gill and our program like he did Coach Teaff and Baylor.

Wow, I don't see Grant Teaff references on here often. The original question was a layup for me.
