Well, crap.

From the LUFlamesNation twitter:
LU CB Kevin Fogg likely out the rest of the season with a foot injury he suffered against Lehigh.

From Lang's twitter:
Liberty CB Kevin Fogg hurt his foot Sunday. Coach Turner Gill said he may be out for the season. Heard something pop.

God has a plan. This does explain moving Korrey Davis to DB.

I was being facetious...its a very unfortunate bit of news as thats two players (along with Malcolm Boyd) out of this class that looked like they had legit shots at playing on Sunday suffering significant injuries. Is it the end of the world as we know it, I dunno, but I feel fine.

Going through the stats, I think AA has returned kicks and/or punts as well

Korrey Davis. I'm not sure who will be the 2nd guy back there. I can't imagine it will be Walt. Can't afford for him to get hurt.

Walt returned kicks at the Fan fest, but who knows.

I know, but we can't afford for him to get hurt now. No way he returns kicks.

What about Dante Shells, Gabe, McCarter or Abnar? :P

Abnar would be awesome and a real possibility. I say let Apon return kicks.

Ayers was returning punts against Lehigh. I don't know if that was because Fogg was hurt or not. In any event, I expect he will be taking over there most of the time. As high as Gill appears to be on Abner's potential as a gamebreaker, I would think he would put him back there on kickoffs along with Davis. Ayers and Scott will get the reps at corner.

It just goes to show it is all JB's fault! Even with these key injuries he should have hired a coach who could have recruited depth in every position in his first year. This is just another sign of ineptitude of our AD who has the highest budget in FCS if not the Universe.

Just trying to be PRE emotive. I really feel for Fogg and hope he heals quickly and fully

Prayers to you Kevin Fogg!

I have been where you are at. Getting injured when it matters the most and having to watch from a distance is not fun. Keep your head up and keep perspective. God has a plan for every season of life. He never wastes a wound.

You are in our prayers.
