Inexcusable. Incredibly sloppy play, that seems to be getting worse by the game, and we definitely played the wrong QB.
The final should have been 28-20 as Woodrum fumbled a full yard before getting to the end zone. Should have been 3 bad turnovers by him.

I meant on the last play. They were focusing on the Lehigh coach instead of THE GAME

Yep, tons of improvement needed with the broadcasts as well.

without major changes this team will not beat SB or CCU*.

I am sure its going to be another fun week around here
We just aren't a top 25 team this year.

I like Woodrum. For a Frosh with a shaky OL he's doing fine. Remember the old saying 'The most popular player on the team is the back up QB.'

nope
Probably why I am not acting like the sky is falling like most around here

I didnt say the sky is falling but it's not like we can finish second in the league and make the playoffs now.
so that really changes the whole perspective on the season, doesnt it?
PS: Toledo now up by 10 with 4 to go

Maybe that's why I'm not to down.

yes
re-load, not re-build.
we invest way to much in these programs to fall short each year

To 're load' you have to have a tradition of winning, especially big games (we don't) and stability in coaching staff (we don't). When we start doing THOSE things or at least 1 of those things we can re load. Right now we rebuild.

Whoever thought it was good to show a punt block formation on 3'rd down should be fired. Immediately.
Second, the players didn't lose this game. They did all they could. The coaching was horrendous. It was completely inexcusable and incompatent, and the reason we lost.
I'm really worried. The players for the most part did what they could. I loved their fight tonight.

Great Bill Murray scene in Stripes. It's not so much the drugs, it's just all the cold syrup I had this AM

meh... you have a point. I meant more talent-wise.
gonna go read the VMI and Presby boards to make myself feel better, then watch Dr Who.
Can't wait to hear what SMOOTHIE has to say tomorrow.

There is nothing wrong with doing all you can do. But if you don't have the talent it doesn't matter how good you do...

Dr Who will make you feel better. This has been a really good season! 'Dinosaurs! On a Spaceship!'

We had the talent. The coaching staff blew it. Somebody blew it and they should be held accountable. Passing on the 2pt conversion again? Same play as Norfolk State? The punt block formation on 3'rd down? I've never ever even seen that!!!!

I'll agree about passing on the 2 pt conversion. We don't have the level of talent and/or experience across the board that a team needs to be dominate.
