Sam Houston State just stuck with Baylor for 3 quarters the week after Baylor obliterated SMU. I'd let them stay top 10 a year after going to the title game and sticking with a good Big 12 program for 3 quarters.

I have no problem with them being top 10, but not #2. YSU, Citadel, UNI, ODU should all easily be ranked ahead of them.

UNI and ODU? I can see Youngstown and Citadel, but UNI and ODU haven't done anything more than SHS at this point.

Yeah, I can see where you would say that. At this point, we're just splitting hairs. I'm just not too high on them. We'll see how it plays out.

I think this just further proves how nonsensical it is to have polls this early in the season. We really don't know much of anything beyond Citadel looking to be way better than anyone would have thought.

Is Stony Brook still underrated after nearly losing to Colgate? Is McNeese St still underrated after losing to an awful SE Louisiana program?

 I asked myself the same thing when I pulled this thread up to pat myself on the back.
