I am flying up from Missoula and my question right now has to do with the fires. How bad is the smoke in Missoula?

As for the fires, it depends on the day. A lot of Idaho is on fire but last weekend for the game it was great. The night before and the next day was bad but game day was great. Even nature slows down for the Griz hahaha. I live by Great Falls and visibility right now is around a mile. Reaaaaallllyyyy smoky. So, to answer the question, it depends on what the weather is like.

It won't be that bad, seems to be worse in the evenings also so if you want to do something outside try to schedule it in the am.

we are gonna be flying into spokane and driving over, do you see any issues with that?

Other than having to be in Spokane, no. HAHAHA The drive is gorgeous, swing into the 50,000 silver dollar bar/restaurant/store. It's pretty impressive.
