Randy Spann
D.J. Edmond

Miles Hunter
Andrew Jauch
Chris Mayo
Aaron Dial
Players Incoming:
Charles Williams 6-0 190 Lbs Prospect, Va.(Fuqua School)
This is probably the most experienced group of DBs as a whole in the last few years. Kevin Fogg came into his own after coming to Liberty as a running back in 2009. Fogg finished tied for the team lead with Illinois transfer Walt Aikens in interceptions (3) and was named second team all conference (he was one of two players to make all conference at two positions...more on his kick return exploits in the finale). Jacob Hagen and Kenny Scott (from nearby Appomattox County High School) have both made big impacts in training camp so far. Vinson and Mayo, after playing the last couple years at the hybrid "adjuster" position will be enforcers in the defensive backfield as well. FF4E's boy Ryan Ayers will get a chance to earn a starting job as well after limited duty in his first full season in 2011 after transferring from Georgia Tech. Look for Edmond, Sorie Bayoh and Randy Spann to also battle for spots in the DB rotation as well
