I read article in paper about closed practices. The reasoning did not make good sense. I have attended practices for past 5-6 years, maybe longer. there was never enough folks at practice in the stands to have any effect on what was talking place on field in regards to players or coaching staff. I never saw more than 8-10 fans at a practice. If players/coaches are focused on 8 fans sitting on top row of bleachers, there is a problem somewhere that closed practices will not solve.

Yeah. Gretna doesn't close their practices and look how successful they have been.

That was a BJ original, I couldn't make that stuff up.

I did say it. I thought about it and FH had a point, so I deleted it (even though ballcoach does come up with some headshakers at times)
