I think 2 or more of the WRs play.
K Lunsford plays.
One of the TE plays.
Wouldn't be surprised if the rest Redshirt including Abnar and Griffiths

Interesting, but quite possible, that at least 2 of our 3-star recruits are in fact candidates to redshirt. I think both Abner and Griffiths face a numbers game, with a depth chart full of experienced players to beat out if they are going to make enough of an impact to merit using a year of eligibility. Either one would need to seperate themselves from the pack by showing they can simply make plays noone else on the roster can.
I think of the incoming freshmen, Patterson and Lunsford are most likely to make an immediate impact, and I couldn't help but notice that Gill made a point of saying that Uzowihe had a chance to play right away.

Griffiths didn't jump from Maryland for a chance to redshirt. He'll be in the rotation, IMO.

I definitely agree. I'd be surprised to see him receive a redshirt.
If he doesn't get the redshirt what is your guys overall impression of our young backers?

in a 4-3 he plays middle. Who does he play in front of?? Sigmon, no, O'grady, no. even his brother is 3rd string at middle. There would have to be a big shake up at LB for him to paly this year. D Ward going to DE helps but he was an outside backer. Right now they have about 14 people fighting for 3 positions.

I do too. Competition can only help ensure that everyone gets better. having 14 guys for the 6 slots on the two deep definitely will make for a very quality LB corps

I think Abnar may get soem carries as true freshman, especially if our running game struggles as it has in past couple seasons.

My guess is Dallas moves outside. You're correct in saying the depth chart at MLB seems to be set for at least another two years. Sigmon won't be replaced there, IMO. It worked well for us with Manny Rojas and Stevie Ray Lloyd several years ago.
