So I know last time there was a last minute team meeting we had a big event any chance this meeting tops that?

Probably not but we need something else to speculate about with no NFL today.

Whatever it is, it's huge. Think about it, why would you call a meeting on short term for Sunday night at 7:30? They'd rather have the kids be in Sunday Night Church (or whatever it's called these days).

Timing indicates whatever it is, it's big.

I think they just want some afternoon entertainment and figured this would generate that over here on flamefans! haha

UM, I hate to be the cosmic killjoy, but what if it is just the first time to have a full team meeting since all of the coaches were in place and in town?

nick said he was gonna call me when it's over, so i will post when i find out. i asked and he said he had no idea, unless it was coach ski saying good bye. i thought it might have something to do with where they had the walk on tryouts. we will see

This makes a lot of sense since the coaches are off the road. The last time they all got together was the Sunday night before classes started. It's still not a bad idea to announce something tonight that may very well give a recruit cause to choose LU come Wednesday!

The fact that the meeting was announced publicly at the very least gives us opportunity to speculate.

We will know soon enough.

Saw it on FB this morining while I was waiting for church to start.

The only thing I could think of was a conference announcment just in time for signing day.

It was announced via Twitter and Facebook but most of the players figured it out by then.

don't think it ha s anything to do with the walk ons. My youngest son tried out Sat and said the walk ons would be told on Monday if they made the team. Hope he can join his older brother for a year. it would be great to have them play together. they never have been able to in the past because of the age spread
