Got to hang out with coach Caldwell for about an hour last night. He had some really nice things to say about the Liberty University football program. He said that coach Gill is a good friend and will be a great coach at LU. He ask about coach Rocco and wanted to know where Michael Rocco was playing. He couldn't believe the coaching staff Gill has put together for this season. I invited him to be a part of it. ... But he was on his way to Pittsburgh to interview for a job with the Steelers. Great guy! Said his Daughter went to a Christian U, Charleston Southern.

Cool moment. You never know who you will run into in airports.

Coach Gill's reputation is very high in general in the coaching community. Most understand that Kansas was a bad situation.

Yes, have met a lot of people there over the years .... it's more fun with a picture snapping smart phone! Wish I would have had one my entire career!

I agree completely. But generally most of my conversations are so quick that I rarely think to get a picture.

True, usually the case .... Last night he was taking the last flight out of GSO and it was lite. We had plenty of time to talk .... He seem genuinely interested in LU, coach Gill and staff. He said he use to do a lot of Virginia High School recruiting at Wake.

Espn reporting he is headed to be with the Ravens. He mush have gotten on the wrong plane.

Can we let Gill put some W's on the board before crown him king? We should support but balance a level of expectation within his contract. Sounds like we should be able to win BSC.

I think youre the only one crowning him king Bach...we know he can do good things based on his background but I dont think anyone on here is anointing him as anything just yet

I saw Jim when he got home Saturday night ... I didn't have time to talk to him this time. He waved and kept going. But he did tell me he was interviewing with Tomlin on his way out.
