The new uni's are gonna be sick.. Lineman cut and the color schemes are great.. keeping same helmets tho... JACKED

If we are keeping the same helmets, which I guess makes sense since we only used them one season, we need to start a "put stripes on the helmet" campaign!

Are we getting Pro Combat style unis?

We need more info than "new uniforms". Are we going to stick with red, white, blue jerseys, white and blue pants? I guess we're sticking with the white helmet?

Our current logo is on EVERYTHING . . . including all the trash cans around campus. What did you have in mind? Or are we back to the helmet thread?

oh Im sure it is...I think FFG could confirm this for me (or even LUPunter) but the logos on the helmets are stickers so if you want to put a new logo on, that wont be too complicated a process...time consuming but not overly complicated, but Chippy brings up a good point.The current logo (the tribal flame eagle) is on EVERYTHING. From an overall branding perspective, it would not be a very simple process to go with a completely different logo (not to mention quite expensive because youd have to come up with all new merchandise featuring the new logo)

I think the easiest solution is to make a two toned (red and blue) tribal eagle that is filled out without Liberty Flames written under it.

It wouldn't be too bad. All of the logos come off before the helmets get sent out for reconditioning each year. A few days before the first game they go through and decal every helmet again. So if they wanted to switch the logo it would be the same work as putting the old logo back on.

Chippy, I had stripes in mind. Someone mentioned stripes. I did not know if they would be too difficult to add . I have been a proponent of the single logo throughout campus.

I will just say that they are totally different material, tight fit jerseys.I will also just say that Missouri Tigers have the same jersey format... Thats all i can say

Why can't we have one logo on the helmets and keep the tribal logo on everything else? ND does this in a way, BYU does it, and here are some others off the top of my head:

I MIGHT be okay with the double stripe like on our blue helmet. Not that you need my permission

Stripes aren't that bad to put on at all. They're much easier than the decal itself. The Revo Speed is probably one of the easiest helemets to put a stripe on IMO.

I like the missou stripes much better than the stripes we once had. More classic, and not so .. Tribal?

I don't believe this until I see them. Was this on Gill's priority list? Probably not. Seems like it would have to be if he's already changed it and he's only been here a month.

It wouldn't be that complicated of a process. Gill says "can we change the uniform?" The equipment staff goes on Nike's website and messes around and makes a few different options. They sit down with Gill and Rutigliano and they decide on one and then it gets ordered.

Yeah, they are all stickers. They add them on before the first game and replace them as they get torn up throughout the year. Hope we're not getting that same ol played out Mizzou/Wake Forest/Every high school in the nation that wears Nike template for a uniform. Missouri is getting new uniforms this year anyway.
