I was excited to hear that LU has hired Turner Gill as their next head coach. Turner is well loved in Nebraska...so expect some Husker fans to invade your forum! Many fans jumped on board when he went to UB, and I expect the same will happen here. Turners reputation is unparalled in college football when it comes to being a Christian footaball coach and man of integrity. When he resigned his position at Nebraska, there was actually a live press conference that was aired on all the TV stations......this is how big Turner Gill is...and he was an assistant coach here.

What I love about Turner Gill is that he loves the Lord and does not step away from that . And now, he is going to have the opportunity to live out his faith more openly at LU...and have greater impact on men who can then go forward and build the Kingdom. God gives favor to those who are faithful...........I knew God would take care of Turner........and now he is with you all.

Congrats on hiring Turner......he truly knows whom he serves.
