the only offer that i have heard or seen written is Streeter. How far this sets us back will be determined by if the new coach can keep the existing commitments. I think short term..this recruiting class may suffer, but we will be fine IMO.

I dont follow recruiting all that well but from what I hear we already had the lowest number of signees as we ever had under DR. In my line of work we call that a co-ween-ki-dink

At ND they call it Ty Willingham!

Losing Skalaski hurts ... a lot. He was the one recruiting our 6' 5" WR from Tampa who had already committed as well as both top targets Culkin & Griffiths.

But it is still early enough in the game that whoever we hire will have time to put together a class. And crazy as it might sound, the right hire might actually boost our class. Coming in on the ground floor with a new coach means everybody gets an equal shot.

We are about to enter the bowl season dead zone where coaches can't have contact with recruits. Hopefully we have a staff in place by the time the dead period ends so we can be on the ground rolling.

Manny is gone to Richmond too. I think he offered about half of the staff (maybe more).

I think Kill Bill is going to stay. I have no confirmation on that though, but I see him more as an LU lifer like Gomes and Sundheim.

Gillespie is staying.

Half the staff is accurate, though Rocco didn't go into specifics. Rojas, Skalaski, Streeter are among the group.

Appreciate the information. Have you heard anything about Roberts? I'd love to keep him. He's a real energy guy.

Roberts is probably the one guy I wouldn't want to see go.

Special teams havent been stellar. Does he recruit well? Or is the love because he is a nice guy, with energy? Keeping Lifers is not over rated.

He's also the secondary coach. He could be moved to a different position.

He is a coach that the players seem to enjoy. He definitely believes in what Liberty is doing. I'm not saying HC but I would hate to see him leave the mountain.
