anyone else hear Jennings make the statement he's not trying to start anything but there are more DI transfers on the way?

When was that statement? Was he referring to Stevie Ray and Zach?

We could certainly use another infusion of I-A talent, I'm a little surprised we haven't landed one of Coach Rocco's guys from UVa. Usually when an assistant leaves to go to a I-AA there usually are a few players who follow the coach with mor eplaying time as the motive.

He made the statement last night at the half time show during the MBB game. He was not talking about Stevie Ray or Zach because he had already mentioned them. He did say, as HMO stated, that he believes there are more on the way. That would be great! I really liked the sound of him. He also said that this team works harder than anyone he has ever been around including Pitt.

I'm regretting being unable to get the audio stream last night more & more.

I wonder if these others are ones we discussed before on this board or if they are completely new names.

Come on, guys. I know there are people on this board who have info they aren't sharing.

Tomorrow @ 3:00 in the Grand Lobby will be a press conference/about signing day/media day whatever you want to call it so if your in the area swing by...I dont suspect any new news to be disclosed here, All the transfers that could be mentioned have been mentioned but i suspect there to be a few more at the start of the school year...they just dont want it to be public knowledge so they can walk the halls in peace

I did the interview with Rashad last week and it was First played on This week in Flames Athletics last Saturday.. I will hopefully have that up in the next few days and will have an interview with Stevie Ray for this week's show... He was not talking about Stevie Ray or Zach.. he was talking about other people which I can't not discuss as of right now..l

I didn't talk to either one much last week. I'm not just gonna randomly go up to him and be like, "So I hear we have more guys coming in, who is it?" That'd be kinda weird.

Ok, no names, but let's just say that we'll be playing, "The Boys Are Back In Town" next season. I was told that some kids from UVA, one from Kansas, and some other guys from this area are coming back.

I'm going to put two and two together on the potential Virginia transfers and guess Ben Parziale and/or Phil Simms ... as for Kansas? There's no one from KSU or KU from Lynchburg, so I have no idea.

He said a name but I'm horrible with names so who knows.

Oh, no, I didn't randomly ask. It came up in conversation during a break in class.

And you guys aren't the only one that have done sports writing. I was at community college last year and covered my high school baseball team's run to the Western Finals in the playoffs. Don't claim to be a "reporter" but I have some experience. I've done interviews on Coastal tv.

i asked a couple of players about the UVA players and they sound pretty confident about our chances
