Coaching Candidate: Houston Nutt

I'm just curious what everyone thinks about the possibility of Houston Nutt being a candidate for the coaching job? He's heavily been involved with the FCA and he fits Barber's quote of someone with a lot of D-1 A experience.
He bombed at Ole Miss, but he has experience at Arkansas, Boise State, and Murray State before. He's 135-95, is available, and has both FCS and FBS experience. I think he'd be a solid fit for Liberty.

haha what's the problem? Just throwing him out there.
There would probably be an Urban Meyer post if he was still available, haha. I've seen farther fetched candidates.

Just as long as we don't hire a pastafarian.

jbock, this is not a far-fetched name. Sometimes you should wait and let others make posts before you do.

Thanks JC, I certainly think it's a bit of a reach. But it also wouldn't surprise me if he'd be interested. Nutt could be a candidate at perhaps a school like Houston (no pun intended) or a comparable school (CUSA or about that), so Liberty may look like a solid job to him. I think he'd be a hell of a recruiter here and would be a success. Not everything I'm looking for, but certainly a quality hire.

At Liberty, we don't want to be associated with hell lol
I'm just picking on you using that expression.
