Ron Brown
Nebraska Bio
Older Story on his Christian Beliefs
In a nutshell, career assistant coach primarily at Nebraska. Big time FCA guy who is very vocal about his faith. On the down side, he has never been a head coach. Then again, neither had Coach Rocco when we hired him from UVa.

If Ron Brown is not seriously consider as a candidate for the HC position (assuming he submits an indication of interest, I would be disappointed. Here’s is a man that brings instant credibility to Liberty, coupled with an Ivy league background (player / alumnus / Asst. coach); extensive time spent coaching at a FBS power house; numerous athletes that were personally under his direction that went on to the NFL ( Johnny Mitchell, Tyrone Hughes) and is a Christian. Everyone who saw the Nebraska / Penn State game saw all the players huddled and kneeling in the center of the field before the start of the game. But very few watching on TV knew the man in the middle who was standing in the center of two rival schools that were to battle that day and bringing ministry to the two teams was Ron Brown……I really hope we get this guy.
