I am happy we won but there is no excuse for this kind of performance against a team like PC. We should be disgusted as a team and I hope they come out next week angry at how pathetic they played and put up 70 on VMI

I think Its BJ's spirit fingers that brought us enough luck to win.

This. Told my wife that I needed to be hooked up to a defibrillator from now on when I'm watching LU football.

PC played some great D. They deserve credit. We played bad and they are not the same PC team as we have seen in the past. They will beat Coastal next week.

Take the win and move on. Give PC credit for great effort on their part. Yes we stunk it up but a win is a win.

This is the type of game we have lost the last couple of years. I'm happy we gutted this one out.
I have a feeling that VMI will have our full attention in practice this week.

Ive never said that. We are much better than we played today, but lets not act like everyone else is so great.
Its a cop out.

You raise a great point Sly. And I hope this is a wake up call.

Not trying to say everyone else is great. I am trying to give credit where it is due. If you don't see a difference in PC then you missed something.

The point is, everyone seems to think we're too good for the Big South, and that Presby is a black eye to the conference.
No matter how "much better" Presby is, they shouldn't be competing with us, ESPECIALLY at the Bill.

The difference in this game, as it has been in our losses this year, was Mike Brown. This team cannot reach its maximum potential with such a bad passing QB. Just a decent job of making reads and hitting open receivers would have made this a blowout.

and if you think they are GOOD, youre missing something.
I'll be the first to give credit where it is due. Our team is good enough to beat that team by 30. Just didnt happen today for whatever reason, and it wasnt because THEY are THAT GOOD. I dont say anything about play calls coaching decisions, but a lot of other people do, so are they good or are there other questions?

Okay dude, we get it you hate him. We all know.

The good teams find ways to win bad games...we didnt do it against JMU or Lehigh but we got it done when it mattered the most and our season likely was on the line.
Now as for my gloves...I was in a pinch for the Kentucky Wesleyan game (I think) because it got extremely cold and I needed to find a pair on short notice. I found that pair at the bookstore and I got a lot of compliments from people at the game so when it got cold today I decided to pull them out again

I watched the whole thing on MASN. Our offense appeared out of synce the whole game. That big play by PC's QB gave them confidence but thankfully we kept our composure to pull it out. It was just one of those games and all good teams have these kinds of games. PC is much improved as dictated in there performance vs Wofford and they play a tough schedule so I guess that I shouldn't be too surprised by this. A win is a win and we should roll it up bigtime vs VMI.

Sorry guys but if we lose to vmi and beat sbu, we're in the playoffs. If we beat vmi and lose to sbu we're not. I hope they spend the next 2 weeks gaming for SBU. Because they're destroying fools worse than we were. This next game is a meaningless scrimmage.
