Also starring Mike Brown:
Liberty quarterback Mike Brown (Charlottesville, Va.) has been named the Choice Hotels Big South Football Offensive Player of the Week, while Presbyterian College defensive back Justin Bethel (Blythewood, S.C.) and VMI linebacker Byron Allen (Massaponax, Va.) have been selected as Co-Defensive Players of the Week for games played the seventh week of the regular-season. Stony Brook's Brock Jackolski (Shirley, N.Y.) is the Special Teams Player of the Week and Liberty running back Desmond Rice (Lynchburg, Va.) is The Crons Brand Freshman of the Week.

For Freshman of the Week, Im pretty sure not...for any other category I think it has happened a couple times. Im sure the SIDs and their research staff are all over it though
