I don't make predictions, but this was one that an informed CSU fans should be worried about. If you are FCS and you really suck, don't schedule a top 25 team from any division. Several D3 teams have been rated among the top 40 football teams in composite rankings- probably not realistic, but surely teams like Mount Union would have no trouble with bad FCS teams.

NO!!!! I went to the DIII Nat. Champ. game last year. They are BAD football teams. Chuck South or NC A&T or Sav. St. any of them could easily handle Mount Union and Wisconsin White Water.

Actually I just looked. Wesley is DIII. My bad rogers. That's crazy sad for Chuck South. Mount Union and Wisconsin were such bad teams. I'm in shock. Again I'm sorry about that rogers

No need to be sorry. When I look at composite rankings and they have D3 teams ranked above scholarship FCS, I don't believe- just like the Sheridan ratings- and you rarely see the data proven on a game day. Let's hope, for the Big South sake, that Wesley doesn't lend credence to those ratings.

...and finally CSU is starting to do something, now only down by 3. I'd like to see the stats on the game.

Yeah- CSU got their touchdown by returning a short punt for a TD.

G-W is already down 14-0 @ Samford just a couple of minutes into the game.

Wesley takes opening kick in 2nd half, drives for a TD. Interesting listening to their announcers.
Wesley 20
CSU 10

Wesley appears to be better than CSU. They are also rated a good bit higher than KWU.
CSU went 3 and out (big sack on 3rd), Wesley has racked up 45 yards on their 2nd drive of the 2nd half, getting close to the red zone.

GWebb has no chance against Samford. At least I think...

And that's pretty sad.

Sad- you schedule a D3 for homecoming to be sure you'll win, and then you lose 33-20, dominated by the D3 opponent.

Turnovers and big plays are killing G-W today, down 27-7 at half.

At least we aren't going to go 0-fer like CSU is going to do. I don't see CSU beating VMI or PC on the road either.

I grew up around Wesley and there are no scrub D3 team.....HOWEVER, how in the crap do you lose to them CSU? Oh, and who stills wants Jay Mills? Seems to me the team with more talent was outworked.

G-Dub loses to Samford 41-14.

That CSU loss today is perhaps the worst, most embarrassing loss in the history of the Big South Conference.
