really? we drop to 23? one freakin' field goal with 2 seconds left and they move into the top ten? that's crap. but then again, our record is 1-2. ugh, i hate losing.

Again, week 2 polls mean nothing. I'm okay for the drop. We haven't shown the ability to win a big game. Are we as good as JMU? Probably. Finishing games often separates the top 10-15 from the rest.

IMO JMU won't be top 10 in 2 months, and neither will we.

I do not see how North Dakota is ranked 21st in the FCS coaches poll with their only win coming against a Drake team that barely beat an NAIA school (Grand View) and a D2 school (Missouri S&T). In their other two games, North Dakota lost 44-14 to the Idaho Vandals, and lost 27-22 in a close game to Fresno State. North Dakota didn't even receive votes in last week's FCS coaches poll. They only have 26 votes in this week's Sports Network poll.

That's got to be a mistake.

Yeah.... NDST dropdown menu errors maybe? I thought Jacksonville and Jax St. had that issue recently as well.

Oddly enough - tack NDs voted onto NDST and NDST ranks in at 8th- exactly where the other two polls have them.

Yes, it must be a mistake. North Dakota State dropped from 6th to 12th on a bye week? They must have confused North Dakota and North Dakota State as Schfourteenteen mentioned.

Proof that this poll is worthless lies in the fact that JMU gained a spot, while LU dropped several. Bottom line is Liberty should win the BS. When that happens, polls won't matter.

You guys are surprised we dropped out of the polls? Cmon please tell me you guys are joking. Do I think we are a top 25 team? Of course. Does your lone win coming against RoMo seem impressive? Not much.

We'll be back in there once we start steamrolling the Big South.

This early in the season, with such a small sample size, it does not help that RMU pooed the bed against Morgan State, who had previously been crushed by Towson and Bowling Green.

Sometimes that's all voters have to go on...it all evens out in the end, though.

We're 1-2, with a win over a bad 0-3 team. That's not much to go on, if you look at it OBJECTIVELY.

We have our chance to get back into the poll with a win over the Hawks.

To be expected. More surprising is where W&M is ranked. I think we play better as underdogs- but I hope it doesn't take a loss a Lehigh to make us win out!
