We are their homecoming game? I don't know if you can say this game is as big as JMU. Will we still be licking our wounds? Will we get PO'd and play awesome? Those are the questions that make this game interesting. I will be painfully listening to it on the radio.

I think it is. JMU will probably barely be ranked by the end of the year.Lehigh is the only other ranked team we will play. Plus they have a potential POY in Lum.

And on flames sports net I think. Hopefully it will be on 13.2 so I don't have to fire up the internet.

Maybe this is just how I feel the day after watching us blow the JMU game, but am I the only one who feels like we have a huge shot of getting blown out this weekend? Hopefully the team can bounce back and be ready to prepare for Saturday by tomorrow, while I continue to pout about what could have been yesterday.

Is the Liberty band traveling north for this one? I will be going, just don't know how many will be in car with me. I can't wait to get the taste of the JMU game out of my mouth. Early on, it looks like everyone in FCS land is picking Lehigh in this one which is good for us IMO. I think our guys will come out guns blazin' next week.

Liberty is not heading to Lehigh for this one...they were invited to a high school competition in Danville to perform exhibition (and they also are performing at Walt Disney World in November)

I hope you are talking about the band here. If not, the football team took the loss to JMU a lot harder than I thought.

After the performance of the line this week, I would not doubt it.

We've done this before but let's do it again. Repeat after me:

It is too bad the band couldn't make the trip. It is a rare chance for many of our northern fans to see the team in action. The Lafayette folks raved about our band to everyone when we travelled up there. But I'm sure finances played a significant role. Clearly it wouldn't be anyone's choice to play in a high school band competition in Danville.

True Sly...as I said, they are performing at Disney World in November. If the band had the finances to travel to road games like many college bands, Im sure they would. THe downside is that with the schedule as it is, theyd probably have to change the usual performance tack they take and go with shorter shows to compensate

We had a real good response on the mailers that were sent out. Sold a good amount of tickets so we should have a very good showing for this game from Liberty fans.

I'll be there plus one or maybe two more. How long of a drive from Lynchburg will this be?

I will be in sunny Cocoa Beach watching the game from my computer. We are facing a quarterback that has thrown for 1,131 yards and 14 TD's in 3 games. The boys will definitely need to be disciplined and bring their A game to win this one.
