It's a bird, it's a plane, it's...the game ball!

Game ball Thursday will arrive at the stadium via 3 parachutists, according to my contact in the athletic department.

It wasn't me. I don't know this person. I did not tell them jack crap.
Actually, I didn't know if this was ever finalized or not.

I don't know this SJ, either, folks. And I agree, he didn't tell me jack crap. Didn't know you work in the athletic department, SJ.

I don't work in athletics. I sell shoes at Dick's Sporting Goods and tell people how much their house is worth.

Love Dick's. Used to sell running shoes myself for a few years. And you appraise real estate, too? How's the market in Lynchburg these days? My wife and I keep kicking around the idea of moving up there.

We're still trying to get set up in Lynchburg. I know the central piedmont pretty well though (NC) and Myrtle Beach extremely well.

Which Dick's do you work in? I shop the one in Cary from time to time. There and at REI next door to it, although I live a couple hours east of there. My dad's from Greensboro, so I have peeps up there.

I was the fitness manager for the one in Virginia Beach during it's first few months running.
But yes, I believe this was confirmed. Barber mentioned it in Leadership Orientation, a few weeks back.

Barber said at convo on friday that there would be parachuters, so, if he said it at convo, it must be official... I guess? He also said if anyone who had been at Liberty before didn't feel like Thursday night wouldn't be a new, better experience then the past few years, he'd shave his head on the stage at convo.

I would go to convo to see Barber shave his head. That man's hair is never not perfect. If the sun's shining the right way, you can see yourself in his hair.

yeah but see with the new experience like thats hard to tell, and i doubt some student is going to walk up to him and say "i had a bad time at the game" and he actually shave his head. he should have said if they lose on thursday he would shave his head. its more of a risk but whatever
