odd fact: I'm the one person cheering for miles hunter from Delaware in the video at 1:52.

they also showed the entire legacy of the mountian movie to all the freshman and student leadership before this. i cannot wait for football season. our hall (or at least our leadership team) will show the rest of the campus what real liberty fans look like. this is my last go-round and there is no next year for me and a whole lot of starters on this team. it is no or never baby.

p.s. its odd that none of the people whoever speak at these things ever acknowledge that OSL is there with the freshman. (there are over 1200 of us student leaders.)

I noticed, 30. The student leaders helped create energy and modeled the Flames spirit for the freshmen at the Chancellor's "Cookout," which really is not a cookout at all -- but that's another issue altogether.
(Maybe it should just be called an "Eat Out" since the cold turkey sandwich, chips, cookie, and apple do not require being cooked out. -- Grateful for the food and the initiation for freshmen to LU sports. It's just a misnomer is all.)

getting nervous about the situation @ LB now... everyone saying "we're young", "waiting for someone to step up", etc...

that doesnt sound good.

The linebackers will be the main subject of the notebook I'm writing for Sunday. I'm also talking to Wally Ake today for the position preview for the blog. I'll post the DL preview this afternoon.

LBs was probably the most wide open of the positions when I looked at it this summer. We lost some real studs off of last year's team and Im hoping to see Nick (Sigmon) and guys that are finally getting their chance on the field really show themselves. I look forward to your notebook on Sunday (as does everyone else Im sure)
