Apparently Jimmy Eden left. Does anyone know why?

—Baptiste is a newcomer to the group. There were some dominoes that led to Baptiste landing on offense. First, Jimmy Eden wasn’t able to return after complications from an appendectomy last summer left him struggling to gain and maintain weight. That opened a spot at receiver, and fullback Elliott Dutra moved there. Liberty had a logjam at linebacker, and Baptiste fit the profile of a fullback, so he moved over this month.

As noted in my notebook that ran in last Sunday's paper, he's working with the video staff now. He was having too much trouble gaining and maintaining weight to play. Too dangerous.

Dang. Thats unfortunate.

If he cant gain and maintain weight, itd be more dangerous for him to try and play.

Hate it for Jimmy. I know he was working hard to get back in to game shape. Glad he's able to stick around the program though!
