Our biggest game that year was Ferrum JC. They had been the JC champions a year or a couple of years before we played. I cannot remember who won. Heck, I cannot remember which games I went too. I remember we played at the city stadium.
Keep the photos coming, and thanks.

I had no idea they played Hargrave Military Academy back in the day! I graduated from there in 2001.

Coach Royer's wife coached at my high school in Tampa, Fl, Temple Heights Christian for a number of years following Rock's death. As a matter of fact Rock had some type of job with that church at one time, cannot remember if he was also going to coach its college football team. The college folded soon after, not due to his death. My high school folded just this summer.

We lost the first three games and won the last three, so we beat Ferrum that year, don't remeber the score. The very first game we were down 28-0 at half, came back and tied the game and belive we lost 35-28 on a late TD. Rock made quite a speech at halftime as you might expect. The room where we had to meet was so small we all had to stand up, there was not enough room for chairs, so he grabbed some facemasks and shook some people up a bit.
Less than 5 days to Rocco ball. Go LU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
