Liberty had 236 student-athletes earn inclusion on the 2010-11 Big South Presidential Honor Roll, Big South Conference Commissioner Kyle B. Kallander announced today.

To be named to the Presidential Honor Roll, student-athletes must have maintained a grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher for the recently completed academic year.

With 236 honorees, Liberty had the most student-athletes of any conference institution earning a mention on the Big South Presidential Honor Roll. Over 51 percent of Liberty's total student-athletes were named to the roll, capping off another stellar year academically for Liberty student-athletes.

By my count there are 21 football players.

Got to be a proud papa and give a shout out for my boy, Nick. He is working hard and made it for the second year in a row :clapping

It helps having 21 varsity athletes who are also Honors Program students (required to maintain at least a 3.50 GPA)--and that doesn't even count the club sports or the Quiz Bowl team.
