2010 Football Schedule Poster Earns Second Place
July 19, 2011
Lynchburg, Va.
Recently, Liberty Athletics Marketing received recognition for one of its 2010 football promotional items. Entered in the 2010-11 National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) Awards Program, Liberty's 2010 Flames Football schedule poster placed second in Group II of the Promotional/Schedule Poster category, marking its first-ever NACMA honor.
Competing against other Division I mid-major institutions, Liberty took home the silver medal over Eastern Kentucky and North Dakota State, which tied for third place. Utah Valley received top honors in the category.
Designed by Brian Wallace of Liberty's Office of Promotional Publications, the 2010 football schedule poster featured all six of Liberty's team captains from last season – Patrick Bannon, Alex Stadler, Mike Brown, Chad Brown, Soeren Wendland and Doncel Bolt.

That's a very good idea although I will often take a picture of the poster and then use it as a desktop image.

Just remember that this is last year's poster. And, I don't know your screen size, so this may or may not work.

I think you may have more awards coming for that one blwall...excellent job. What do you use to design the posters usually?

Photoshop is the major one. Some text is done in Illustrator & them imported into the PSD file.

Also, thanks everyone for the nice words. It's something I take a lot of pride in. If I'm not mistaken, these were printed & at the spring game. That's why I don't normally post my work until it's been printed & made available for people to take home. Don't want to take away any thunder from athletics.....especially since they treat me so nice.
I was a little upset when the 2010 poster didn't win first place, so that's something I'm going to rectify.
