They are making site visits to CSU & GW today. Does this mean those games will be on tv?

Well they are at least considering it for sure if they are making a visit. G-W would be a high likelihood Im sure...CSN did the Liberty- G-W game back in 07 if memory serves...

Site surveys were completed at Charleston Southern and Gardner Webb yesterday and yes those games along with the away games at Stony Brook and Lehigh are on the schedule to be aired live on the Liberty Channel and possibly other networks.

Wait, so does this mean that Liberty is separating from the BS Network? Will these games be available online?

No separation, Big South Conference gets first pick, we televise those games left as in the past.

No HD this season, but the prospects for it in the future looks good. Thanks for all the kind comments. We will also be doing some away men's basketball games this year, thanks to Chancellor Falwell. The TV broadcast schedule should be posted soon on the Flames website as soon as the Big South media day concludes.

I can do without HD. It would be great to have, but I'd rather have EVERY away game on TV than HD.

Ironic that the Big South doesn't seem to want LU/Stony Brook this year. That would seem to be a key matchup this season.

Then phoenix remembered we are in the BS and KK is our leader...thinking has no place in the BS leadership

I will be out of town the last Saturday in September (Lehigh) and the first Saturday in October ( Kentucky Wesleyan) . Glad I'll be able to watch the games online. I do believe that this is the start of something BIG for Liberty.

I miss Jerry Edwards.

Edit: Alen York, since Jim Tressell is gone, I think the red sweater vest was a good look the other day. And you do a fantastic job! No homo.

SBU was on the schedule for 1PM. Is the time change to accomendate TV, Do they have lights at their stadium? Two years ago it was a day game too. Late November game on Long Island they may need the lights on the the 1PM game .

Yes they do. They played a 3:30 game against VMI in late October last year. By that, I'm assuming they have lights.

The one that always worries me is when VMI plays in late November. I remember I went in 2008 and when the game was over the sun almost set over cameron hall. Most teams who don't have lights move their games back to noon (or 1). Not VMI.

SBU was moved to accommodate TV. The stadium definitely has lights. The last time LU played up there, SBU hosted a prep football doubleheader (sectional championship games, I think) right after the college game.
