According to assistant coach William Bratcher the sophomore received an offer from Minnesota on Monday. Bratcher also says that Atkinson is receiving interest from South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina State, Georgia Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, Liberty, The Citadel, Charleston Southern, Elon, Old Dominion, and North Carolina Central.
Atkinson has recently posted a 4.59 second 40 yard dash time according to his coaches.
