We have worked Richlands HS quite a bit the past few years. We must have developed relationships with their staff. This kid looks like a perfect fit by the numbers.

ESPN has dropped a 3-star ranking and a grade of 75 on him.

Oh yes I did! He certainly is a mountain! As you are well aware, college defenses are being built more and more on speed and quickness. An offensive line still has to have the agility and quickness to pick up the stunts and speed of the defense. A 5.7 is a pretty slow time. I was just wondering if it was correctly posted. Watching the video he seems to block a man ten yards backward a lot faster than that posted time would indicate.

That probably is an auto-timed from a 40 somewhere along the line. I have seen big kids drop .6-.7 off their 40 time with some training & conditioning.

Isn't he a tad slow . . . and isn't he a little tall for a guard? I'm thinking the QB would prefer to be able to see over his interior linemen :D

Agreed with TD. At his size he looks like he could get some very good leverage off the snap. This would be a very good pickup for us.
