He verballed over the weekend on his only official visit according to Rivals. I don't get the impression we had offered him.

I have gotten to see him against Glass...he is a very speedy player who can do well in the receiving game...he would be similair to BJ Hayes for us Id think.

It's interesting that we didn't offer to a local kid who a team going to the Orange Bowl thought was good enough to give a scholarship to...not saying we did anything wrong just that it's odd

They used him as a wildcat QB a lot this year.

I have no direct knowledge of whether an offer was made or not. He clearly had the type of senior season that attracts attention. Keep in mind you can only offer scholarships that you have available. We have a very limited supply to hand out in 2011. As an FBS school, UConn typically has a little more latitude based on the 85 limit.

That's Fiesta Bowl. If nothing else, they do seem to produce some quality backs though.
