It's time to move on (for me). Bring your discussion of the SB game here. I for one can't wait for the team to get back on the field and get the bad taste out of my mouth and theirs too. I think we win in a very tight game that comes down to the end. No not by 40 whatever. I do think it will be fairly high scoring though (low to mid 30s for the winner).

We have a real challenge against SB with Summers almost certainly out (or at best playing hurt). To this point I've never been a big fan of playing Tyler more at QB and Mike at WR, but it may have come to that now.

Not having a deep passing threat will hurt the offense. Garner and Summers on the shelf. I for one would not go with Tyler brennan this game. Stick with Mike except for the well timed flea flicker with he and Tyler on the field at the same time.

If Chris is out, our top receivers ar Kelly, BJ Hayes and DeArmon. Despite his speed, BJ has never shown he is much of a deep threat. Hopefully Gabe will step up, and maybe we can get some production out of Pratt. It would be a great story if Jimmy Eden could make a contribution, but maybe too much to ask.

With all the chips laid against us in this one, I believe this is the game our defense is ready for, and they dominate. Big LU victory, not by 43, but close. Stony Brook will be shocked at the team that hits them in the mouth on Saturday.

On a long pass from Mike at the end he stretched for the endzone and Norman (CCU Corner) grabbed him as he went in. Summers messed up his ankle pretty bad and was on crutches after the game.

On the 80 yard TD pass Chris cought late in the game, Norman finally cought up with him as he crossed the goal line and horse collared him (penalty was called). He has a high ankle sprain. Let's just say that Norman did not distinguish himself by his actions after that. The ball came loose well after Chris crossed the line, and Norman grabbed it and ran around in the end zone, holding it up to the refs like there was a fumble, even though they had signalled the TD. Then after the game he tried to make nice-nice with both Chris and Rocco and they weren't having it.

Home field, with a crowd on hand that WANTS to be there. Atmosphere will be intense, but not as loud as normal.

LU plays hard and spreads the offense out with Chris Summers on the bench. Tyler Brennan throws for 180 yards and 2 TD's, both to Mike Brown, and Mike rushes for 100 yards, throws for 100 yards, and catches for 70 yards. The defense plays a 4 man front and clogs the running lanes and short passing lanes, and SBU has trouble getting an offense going. SBU is forced to look further down the field on offense, which plays right into LU's hands defensively.

agreed. better have riot control on stand by
Ye of little faith. The only thing riot control will be needed for will be for to keep the 5,000 fans from destroying Lynchburg after we find out we're in the playoffs and Charleston Southern beat Coastal.
