This will be a good test for us. Pretty sure they're missing that really ridiculously good WR/RB guy, Stephenson?? I thought I read somewhere he suffered a big injury, he didn't play against Hawaii...

Regardless, Toscano is good, this team is good, and it will be a good test to see if we're ready for the Big South.

Not to mention CSU has lost every trip to Lynchburg since 2002 (last win in 2000) and you better think they are going to want to finally end that streak

Last 4 in Lynchburg:

2002: LU 31-17
2004: LU 34-6
2006: LU 34-20
2008: LU 42-0

LU has outscored the Bucs 146-43 in the last four meetings

Yeah, history means nothing to this CSU team. They're probably looking over tape right now to see the best way to attack our defense, and Toscano is ready to give us a game. I hope our offense comes prepared because we're going to have to score points to win.

Im sure that this history has not been completely overlooked by Coach Mills TTL. Remember...when CSU came to Lynchburg in 06...they were unbeaten and starting to make some waves toward the polls...and then got run over by LU in Lynchburg 34-20 and havent come anywhere close to that level of relevance since. Im sure that they are preparing for us and watching film and all the usual sorts of things...but you have to think that Coach Mills knows about their lack of success in this series (and certainly hasnt forgotten how close they came last year).

I probably wouldnt find anyone on the roster who played in the 06 game...but the juniors and seniors remember the 42-0 lambasting they took the last time they were in Lynchburg. CSU has not played well at Williams Stadium...even when Karcher was here since they last won here, the games in Lynchburg have not been remotely close. Now this year may be different...but as much as you and TTL want to ignore history, it doesnt bode well for them.

Yeah, we won every NEC game we had played by an average of 50 points until the RMU game. History only means so much.

Also, Liberty drops out of the top 25 in the coaches poll.

Anybody who has a wedding during football season is just completely inconsiderate. And I'm not even trying to be all macho sports guy on you. And what kind of guy puts up with that?

(A Liberty guy who doesn't want to wait until spring, if you catch my drift)

I doubt it. It's homecoming so all the festivities that typically goes on with HC will be going on - parade, etc. I did hear that Band Alums are able to perform with the band during the game. That could be interesting.
