A Sea Of Red

Now that Fumble has passed and Super has gone on (to Vol country), is there an official FlameFans tailgating group that cooks out together before home games? If so, who is in charge, and do you need any help?

I know Smoothy used to cook some for it, and I'm wondering who else is involved. In the old days, we used to do an RSVP list so they'd know how much food to buy, and how much it would cost per person. Are they still doing that, too?

Great question. There is still time to get this organized for Saturday and then Homecoming the following weekend.

I will have a spot this weekend for the game. I'm not sure for all other homes games but if I don't use it, someone else it welcomed to it.

Yea, I want to make sure that Sly has a place to eat when he hits town for homecoming. I have one of those huge half barrel charcoal grills, and I'm willing to donate the grill, charcoal, and my cooking services, if someone else buys the food and handles the money.

I will also have a spot for homecoming. Willing to throw something together using that.

I have a spot for the next 2 games. More than willing to use that and get something together. Don’t have a great grill yet though.

Just don't use charcoal. It might offend the JMU guys.

HAHA! You would! Lol! I actually just got a slot but its in the blue lot next to the bookstore. I guess I got my slot a little late ha. I have a tiny cheap $!5 charcoal grill from walmart but it gets the job done. If you wanna chill up there let me know and ill get some extra meat for a small price!

I noticed the school in general is very strong about there tree hugging. There were signs and announcements and all kinds of stuff even at the football game.
