Liberty will have more than 1,500 in attendance for next weekend's in-state contest in Harrisonburg, Va. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m., inside Bridgeforth Stadium.

Didn't he burn us last year? It seemed as though we held JMU in check the first part of the game and then MM put Dudzik in and he did some damage.

i don't even want to talk about this game. really. a loss to RMU? and we expect to be competitive to a top 5 ranked JMU team that beat VT???

the thing is last year Mickey was obsessed with rotating our backup Justin Thorpe in the game. Last year Dudzik got hurt midway through the year and we had to use Thorpe, who was a redshirt fresh, the rest of the year. This year, Dudzik is going to take every snap, godwilling. (It helps a bit that Thorpe got hurt in the Morehead game)

I remember the chatter on the JMU board. Thorpe was ineffective against Liberty and after the game I was wondering why MM seemed to like Thorpe over Dudzik (this, according to what some were posting).

It wasn't that he liked Thorpe over Dudzik, it was that Thorpe was so inexperienced Mickey was afraid if something happened to Drew (and he did get hurt) that Thorpe would be so green and inexperienced we would be screwed.
Even before Thorpe got hurt @ Morehead it was clear that Dudzik is our starting QB, as Mickey decided in the spring.

Yes Dudzik killed us last year, and then Thrope would come in and completely stall the offense. I've been of the opinion, even before this RMU game, that he was going to destroy us this year, if he had an entire game to himself. Which he will. And now everybody knows that our defense is playing with cement shoes.

I hope our players have their heads screwed on straight by next week. If not, the third or fourth QB will do just as much damage.

what really worries me is Mickey's playcalling. I mean we beat VT, that AWESOME, but we threw 8 PASSES ALL GAME! as we say on our boards, "We need to pass more!"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... you guys are jokes. I'm so stoked i have the power to swing a game! lets go with this, maybe our coach should make some changes... easy games like this, presby, stony brook... come one...
maybe we can think of it this way... we get really focus now and beat JMU. It seems for the last 2 years we've lost to that one team at the end of the season that we shouldn't have... we're just getting it done early. i fully expect to go undefeated from this point forward.
As for all you who are way to obsessed with this right now... come on...

I'm done being a little girl about this. time to refocus my energy. (in a way) i think this will help liberty be EVEN MORE pumped up at JMU because they'll be looking for a little revenge.
