you think we will get up near the top 10 after this week's big win?

I think we'll be 15th or 16th. We won't crack the top 10 unless we beat JMU and are 4-0

We'll be top 15 as high as 12.

We'll be top 10 before the season's over regardless of whether or not we beat JMU. If we beat JMU we'll reach top 5.

they will more than likely look at Ball State and JMU as a measuring stick. I know the committee was paying attention to the Ball State game :)

I'm thinking LU gets about to 14. Yeah Ball St is FBS but until they play another FBS opponent it's hard to measure how good Ball St really is this year. If they end up losing every other game then no one is going to care if we beat them as well. Just some thoughts I had.

If we win this week, we'll definitely move up at least 2 spots as #7 plays #9 and #10 plays #13.

So we're right at #15. Highest ranking in the national poll we have ever achieved after week 2 in our history...? I do believe this is right...

In 2 weeks we'll prove without a doubt where we should be ranked.

My favorite part of where our program is, is that it doesn't matter. I'm not sure which poll has more validity, a poll where a bunch of coach's secretaries are checking boxes or one where any given joe schmoe is voting based on who he doesn't care for or how he feels that day.

I know we played some Top 5 teams back in the day. It has been awhile.

Who votes for TSN, writers?

if you look at the votes on the AGS poll there is a big drop off between 16 Liberty and 17 Cal Poly. Less than 100 votes separate 12-16. You could almost argue you are # 12(e). Still too early to tell how good a lot of teams actually are, though.
