Bring your discussion regarding the actual game itself here. Keep the tailgating and pregame hype in the other threads.

Liberty-St. Francis game blog
Welcome from the cozy confines of the City Stadium press box, where I actually have a bit more space to work with than I did in the Williams Stadium press box. Of course, that will all change Oct. 2 when the Taj Mahal opens on campus.

There was some concern among city folks that Liberty students would blow this game off because it wasn’t on campus. Uh, no. When I drove up around 9:45 a.m., students were lined up at about every stadium entrance, and Flames Sports Network staffer Nick Pierce tells me students have been out here tailgating since 5 a.m.

I don't know about the 5 AMers but when we arrived @ 7:55 we were greeted by parking attendants and saw some event staff. We were the only ones in the non-reserved lot right off Fort Ave. Flying the flags high and placing the FLAMES ROCK, we enjoyed sausage biscuits, bacon egg and cheese biscuits all fixed on the campstove, cantaloupe, juice, milk and coffee. Now we are cookin' in the stands. Hot sun light breeze and great football-a perfect Saturday!!!!!

Interesting twist to the TV broadcast adding Paul Rutigiliano and the other guy for a little extra analysis, a la College Gameday Style.

But none of them look as good as Desmond did this morning .. wow!

I liked it. Much better than just a pretty face saying random things.

This is not unusual. I have a suspicion the problem is inside FamilyNet but I never want to complain even an iota since I am watching live in Texas.

GO FLAMES!
Yes. Yes it is. Hate I can't be there but I love that I can fully enjoy it all again.

Still trying to figure out St. Francis' thinking in trying to prove their defense could set the tone be deferring. It is obvious they are heavily overmatched.

Korrey nice carry for 6 yards.

First game, first quarter, first possession, and we try a 52-yard field goal.

He didn't get it, but I'm just glad that we have a kicker that we don't have to think twice about doing that.
