DE/LB Chase Underwood showcased his skills at Louisiana’s recent high school prospect camp in Lafayette, La. Underwood put on an impressive performance for the staff and is awaiting an offer from the Ragin’Cajuns.

Chase Underwood had never been to the state of Louisiana, so the “6-3”, 230-pound senior out of Gainesville High in Florida really didn’t know what to expect on his trip to the Ragin’Cajun’s prospect camp.

While Chase Underwood has taken a number of trips to other campuses, there are two that he mentions that really felt like home.

“I’ve been to Duke, USF, FAU, Liberty and Louisiana,” Underwood said. “But I felt the most comfortable with Liberty University and Louisiana; those two felt more like home. Both programs seem to be more family oriented and the facilities were great. Liberty University is located in the mountains and the area is very scenic. Louisiana offers a unique area of people and the staff seems like a close group. Both programs just felt more like what I’m looking for in a college environment and education.”
