As part of its continuing coverage of a nine-month expansion project, LibertyFlames.com had a chance to walk the Williams Stadium expansion site with Director of Athletics Jeff Barber on Tuesday to get an up close look at where the project currently stands.

During the walking video tour, Barber gives viewers an update from various spots around the expansion site including the scaffolding coming down on the final two raker beams, a closer look at the first finished section of precast concrete for the upper deck seating area and much more.

During the next 90-plus days leading up to the start of the 2010 season, fans can continue to keep updated on the progress of this expansion project by logging onto LibertyFlames.com and clicking on the Williams Stadium expansion blog page. The page is updated daily (Monday – Friday) with progress update photos and interviews.

Yeah that definitely surprised me. That was my last project for the website. It was cool being up in the guts of the construction and seeing everything. This thing is gonna be huge.

Yeah it was a great video, and JB said the press box will go from the 9 to the 9. One main concession stand at the 50 yard line with 4 "satellite" locations at each corner. A lot of good info on the video.
