After looking at him coming out HS, Robert is back on our radar as a beefed up JUCO prospect.

With a PAC 12 offer from Colorado, what are our chances of getting him? Looks like an impressive prospect for us IF we can land him. Good size and strength from a very good JUCO program.

Colorado has some major issues as an institution right now. Football of course is in disarray after the last coach.

But none the less still a PAC 12 BCS school. However he is a VA boy and Colorado is pretty far away, not really worried about FAMU either. Anybody think this kid would be an early contributor?

After doing some research, this kid also made the dean's list with a 3.9 GPA, sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders as well

Rivals now lists him as having offers from Colorado & Florida A&M.

He has now been given a 2 star rating. Why haven't we offered this kid yet? I've been intriqued by him so i've done research. He is transferring from Lackawanna to Louisburg JUCO. He is 6'3, 310 and very strong with a 3.9 GPA. Has an offer from FAMU. Has visited UVA, ODU, VMI, and NCCU. What are we waiting for? WE NEED A PLAYER LIKE THIS!

Calm down young Padawan...the staff I am sure has done their due diligence here. If you did research into our roster you would see that we are graduating only two scholarship offensive linemen (Hunter Steward and Malcolm Boyd) following the 2013 season. When you look at a possible recruit, you have to ask a lot of different questions. the one that stands out to me is does he fit what Liberty is all about. not just academically but spiritually as well. I'm not saying we have to have a bunch of angelic choir boys comprising our football team, but we can't go after rvery Tom, Dick and Harry that comes up on our radar.

Robert is a very legitimate prospect and has shown an interest in Liberty dating back several years. If a scholarship is available, it would be appear to be a great match. But that is up to the staff. Moving to a school much closer to Lynchburg should make him much more scoutable.

Robert now holds offers from Florida A&M as well as Indiana State per Rivals.

Rivals reports that he has also now received an offer from Maryland.
