For the first three years of his career at Appomattox, Kenny Scott was predominantly known as a running quarterback.

This fall, the athletic senior emerged as a dual threat in the Raiders’ triple-option attack, throwing for 1,155 yards (with eight touchdowns and only two interceptions) and rushing for another 1,277 with 19 scores.

You would think he'd be a good change of pace QB, however, our current QB and our QB of the future from this recruiting class are both very mobile, so he'd not offer anything different. DB is a good fit for him, maybe some offense and returning kicks as well.

RADFORD — Appomattox senior Kenny Scott claimed his third straight Group A state title in the long jump, covering a meet-record distance of 24 feet, 1¼ inch, and nearly set another new standard in the 200 meters, winning in 21.91 seconds, sparking the Raiders to a runner-up team finish, Saturday at Radford University.
“This was my last year running and jumping, so I just put all I could out on the track today,” said Scott, who’s headed to Liberty University on a football and track and field scholarship. “I did what I could.”

This kid's long jump, 200m and 100m are all on a par with the best on our T&F team. If he makes any improvement at all, he will make a huge impact, especially in the sprints. Another really fast guy to add to our collection in football too. My guess is he will play corner.
