I'm looking for Liberty football jerseys and other gear. I am having a difficult time locating merchandise. The bookstore offering is limited and expensive. I could feed a small village in Malaysia for a year with what it would cost to outfit my family with gear from the bookstore.
Our family is planning to make a couple of football trips this year and I wanted to purchase some gear for them to build the excitement.
Somebody help a flamefan.

I can't offer any help, cause i'm in the same situation. I would love to get some info as well. My problem is that i'm gonna be looking for a specific numbered jersey. I thought local retailers in the burg would offer some.

Other than the bookstore, which is expensive no doubt, Universal T's has a jersey. Although, it doesn't really look like the jersey's that they actually wear. But it's much cheaper. Their website doesn't work though for some reason.

As for getting a specific number, I don't think that's possible short of you buying one and altering it yourself. Liberty apparel is very limited to what the bookstore feels they can sell enough of to make money off of.

Sigmo: You will want to wait until after Nick gets his number assigned sometime after summer camp/before fall practice. Even when Nick gets a number in the fall, that number might change in susequent years, based on transfers (upperclassmen) coming in and wanting a certain number. My son started with 99 as a freshman, then got 11 as a redshirt freshman, and got 55 last year as a redshirt soph. Hopefully he will keep that number for his last 2 seasons.
Last year, I ordered a white jersey with red trim and blue numbers with name on the back for $55 from Universal T's. (434) 525-7271 I think is their phone number. If their website starts working you can see what the jersey looks like. Many other parents also have them and wear them to the games. If you place an order, the owner will bring them to his booth inside the stadium grounds near the Hancock gate, where you can pick them up just before game time for the first home game. The owner can give you the more specifics on payment and pickup.

actually, my wife bought mine and I don't know for sure how she went about it.
Ask SJ, I think he pointed her in the right direction.

There was an equipment manager on here a couple years back letting us know that we could purchase them. I assume some are probably left but a lot of the players bought their own.

I'm pretty sure there aren't any left. We've used the same jerseys the past three years and are likely using them again next year. Until we do a redesign again, we won't have the extras like we did a few years back.
