I was reading on the Clemson rivals board, that his throwing arm is not the same since he had the surgery for the injury last year. They think he is damaged good.

OK, so what graduate program can he get from LU that he can't get from Clemson? Anything other than a seminary degree?

Yes he is, but he graduates from Clemson. From what I understand, he has to sit out a year if he transfers and goes for a degree that Clemson offers. I could be wrong, but that's what I had read.

This may show my ignorance, but why would someone graduate when he was competing for the starting job this past year?

No reason not to when you can continue to play as a grad student as long as you have eligibility.

Unless you know you're not going to compete for that job this season.

If this is the same 07' U.S. Army High School All American who held offers from the entire country; Mike Brown will have to settle for starting WR

I wouldnt say that quite yet...Rocco has said all along that Mike would be the guy next year. Just because we are in play does not mean that he is going to end up here.

He's undergone a surgery that has cost him arm strength since then. He's not the same guy. The fact that Presby and G-W are also on his list should show you he's not exactly Ohio State and Florida material anymore.

Yes he has lost some are strength but that does come back with rehab and strength training. He is still a very good QB and I am sure if he is looking to transfer to play right away that is why he is looking at schood in the FCS. I also think that he wants to stay close to home, by that I mean south east, and he is looking at schools were he thinks he has a legit shot at starting right away and having some success. With that being said I have no idea why he would have Presby on the list unless they have some young solid recievers, a good youg o-line and he thinks he could help them win right away to make a splash. Just my two cents.
