While this expansion is only suppose to hold 25,000?


Because Bridgeforth Stadium is looking much larger then Williams Stadium... I don't know but it just looks that way...

Good question. The pictures of both facilities are rather deceiving. Ours looks smaller and their's looks bigger. I am more confused by the cost of the improvements. Ours is supposed to total $22 Million while I heard there's is up to around $62 million. It seems like JMU's has a more elaborate luxury suite setup but other than that I am not sure why the big difference in cost.

2 things..ours is looked at from further away and our "away" side has more seats i believe with its expansion

Just curious what a ballpark figure might be if you could find out. Not going to hold you to it, but wondering if/what I might be able to do next season.

Nothing has been announced, but the main thing I'm hearing is that you're going to be at the Director's Level ($2500) to be able to purchase tickets for that level. The ticket prices haven't been set, but the current blue seats are $100 for season tickets so you can probably expect it to be a little more than that.

I am excited about the stadium expansion and I know that it will be very nice. I hope that it is going to be as nice as JMU's expansion. If you have not checked out the video for the expansion and the club level area you should take a look.

I think another reason theirs looks so much bigger is because they are having to build from ground level up including a deck above the first level. Our stadium is building (like the Vines) from below ground level to right about ground level, which makes ours look not as impressive.

I think we're going to all just accept that it's a drawing and not an actual picture. I've mentioned before that the visitor locker room is too tall and too close to the field to put bleachers over them without the angle being ridiculously steep. And this picture shows it incredibly shallow. Also, the FOC in that picture looks smaller than Hancock.

Isn't that the ends of the current stands? I'm kind of bummed about them expanding the Baptist side first... They can fill, overfill the student side, but at times it looks like they have trouble filling all the baptist side..I don't see how expanding uberexpensive seats is gonna put butts in the seats... Nothing looks worse then an empty stadium, big or small... But thats just my opinion... We'll see 10 Months if this all works out for the best...

One of the reasons why JMU's expansion cost so much is that they are taring down thier season ticket holders side and rebuilding the seats. They arn't adding to their existing stadium. They are starting fresh.
I am from H-burg and went to the VMI JMU game and they had the plans announced.
