Too bad SOS doesn't matter next year. It's all about conference.

So let's schedule all the cream puffs we can and be ready for the playoffs because we've played such great competition? :BS

It works for Montana, plus, SOS doesn't determine how good the teams are, just where they can be ranked based on numbers...

And we're not Montana! You just made my point.

You're not making ANY point. You have gotten a little TOO number hungry this year. We'll be fine, if we take care of business regular season, we'll do well postseason. SOS and Sagarin aren't everything... do you really think ELON is better than APP? Yeah, me either.

Also, you're cherry picking. Your ignoring the top 50 talent we'll play, and Ball State. Not to mention the 1 or 2 new teams that will be added to the schedule. You're cherry picking the bottom of our schedule. Look at the bottom of Elon and App's schedules this year. I think they'll do fine in the playoffs, don't you?

Ok, so we play JMU and who? Ball State? You do realize how bad Ball State is, right? Just because they're FBS doesn't do diddly for our SOS. Ball State is right in front of Stony Brook, so they would be #47 in FCS and are #164 overall. I really hope Liberty is able to land a top tier team for that open spot on the schedule. I hear Georgetown,Valpo, Winston Salem State and Savannah State all have open dates!

As of right now, we won't be playing anyone besides JMU and Ball State. Our schedule will be worse if you consider Ball State is replacing Lafayette and St.Francis is replacing West Virginia Wesleyan. Lafayette is better than Ball State and it's a push between St.Francis and WVW.

We're playing SBU, Coastal, Chuck, G-W, and two more teams. Calm the heck down and wait for the real schedule to come out. And stop cherry picking to prove your own negative point that only fuels everyone's "sky is falling" attitude.

THAT'S a JOKE. You just lost a ton of respect on that one man... that's absurd. WVW is a terrible DII. SFPA can hang with DI opponents, look at their schedule this year. They're proof that Sagarin doesn't tell you everything. They're better than their record...

Not to mention Lafayette is NOT, I repeat, NOT better than Ball State. If you really think that, then you need to stop coming to the football forum to post and "share information".

Really!? St.Francis 2-9 with wins over Morehead St and Duquense and losses to Bryant,Wagner,Sacred Heart,Monmouth and Robert Morris? Yeah, I guess St.Francis is way better than WVW. Put them on the field and you have a competitive game. Put St.Francis in the WVIAC and they finish no better than 3rd place.

Wow... you've lost your mind. I'm glad the team won't look at it the same way you will.

The Ball State comment is absurd. I still can't get over that.

Roger that, boss. Well, let Coach Rocco know you want to add West Liberty to our schedule so we get a challenge.

Ask UNH how good SFPA is. Ask CCSU.

And I STILL don't get the Ball State comment, can you explain that garbage, please? There's not a team on Ball State's schedule that Lafayette could compete with at all, and that includes UNH!

You said I was ignoring the Top 50 talent we'll play next year. Again, tell me who other than JMU and Ball State are we playing? What am I ignoring? What am I missing? Please, fill me in all knowing.

Stony Brook, CSU, G-W, and CCU all have the potential to be top 50. I think two or three of them will be.

Ball State will be higher than they are this year, they're a good program and they'll be a very tough game for us. They are on the same level as a top level CAA team, talent wise, and they're deeper thanks to more scholarships.

And we still have two games to add.

I wasn't talking potential. We could go all day about potential. I think we can both agree that hopefully Liberty will schedule stronger opponents for next season.

I hope we get a couple of opponents on our level for those last two games.

dp24 wrote: 3. We need to rethink our scheduling now that we have an auto-bid. Teams need to be scheduled so that we come into Big South play at a much higher level. While a NCC is a viable FCS opponent, we also need to fill the rest of our OOC schedule with teams that are from other auto-bid conf. If we are truly going to play for a national championship, we must design our schedule in a way that the Big South is the easy part of the schedule.
